"fffjpg is a mixed media collective started in Netherlands. fffjpg experiments and work with noise, audiovisuals, video art, glitch art, pixel art, creative coding, circuit bending and musical toys. fffjpg experiments online, in public spaces or cinemas. During the Atrabilious Amsterdam Experimental Filmfestival, fffjpg were called to perform at the Filmhuis Cavia. Filmhuis Cavia is a counterculture cinema, founded in 1983 by a squatters movement. The debut happened in the backstage of the cinema. fffjpg were playing live ambient and noise sound with machines and synthesizers, meanwhile their videos were live projected on the cinema screen. The live AV show created an immersive and unpleasant experience."
